Harry Helm announces candidacy for Board of Selectmen

Real estate professional Harry Helm has announced his candidacy for Plymouth Board of Selectmen. Helm, running with the slogan "Accountability Matters" has owned property in Town since 1996 and has been a full time resident since 2012. He serves as the vice chair of the Advisory and Finance Committee.

In his announcement statement posted on Facebook Helm said "I know we need to change our governmental policies and procedures to better serve us, the residents of Plymouth. We all know it and we’ve all talked about it. It’s time to stop waiting and do something about it."

Of the five seats on the Board only one member, Chairman Kenneth Tavares, who has not made a formal announcement, is on the ballot this spring.
