Sears to be replaced by 282 new apartments

The old Sears building at the Kingston Mall/Collection is being demolished to make way for 282 residential apartments ranging from 620 foot square studios to 1500 square foot three bedrooms.  Completion is targeted for summer 2023.

The "mall" was re-zoned in 2018 to allow for multi family housing.  Trammell Crow is the developer.

The site is about a mile walk to the Kingston MBTA stop.
