Town invites restaurants to apply for "outdoor dinning" approval
The Town of Plymouth is inviting restaurants to apply for "Outdoor Table Service" as is expected to be approved as part of Phase 2 of the Governor's re-opening plan. Governor Baker is expected to announce that Phase 2 will start as soon as Monday June 8th.
The Governor's Executive Order issued on Monday allows the Board of Selectmen to amend existing restaurant licenses to allow for "service that is provided outside the restaurant building envelope, whether on a sidewalk, patio, deck, lawn, parking area, or other outdoor space."
Melissa G. Arrighi, Plymouth Town Manager said in a statement "The Plymouth Select Board would like to help restaurants as quickly as they can. If your restaurant wants to do this, please submit a request & plans (following the guidelines attached), as soon as possible."
Restaurant owners are strongly encouraged to submit plans immediately so their plans can be considered by the Board of Selectmen as soon as Monday June 8th.
